AI adoption among financial services firms in the Dubai International Financial Centre has more than doubled since 2024, according to the DFSA's 2026 AI Survey, which the regulator promoted on LinkedIn. It also linked a new paper on cyber resilience against frontier and agentic AI, produced with the Cambridge Digital Innovation and Regulation Initiative.

Both publications accompanied the DFSA Regulatory Sessions at Dubai FinTech Summit, where five UAE regulators, the Central Bank of the UAE, ADGM's FRSA, the UAE Capital Market Authority, VARA and the DFSA, discussed trust, governance and accountability as AI use grows. The post itself gives no further survey figures.
