HOW WE REPORT
Evidence before publication.
A clear distinction between a fact, a claim and a forecast.
Global insurance publishes original briefs based on linked primary publications. New editions are prepared twice daily, at 06:00 and 18:00 UTC. An edition is published only when reviewed news is available.
Our approach
We give priority to official announcements, regulators, company reports and industry bodies. Where no primary source is public, we rely on the specialist insurance press and say so: the brief names the publication that reported it. Each article identifies its source and the source publication date. Company claims remain attributed. Forecasts and proposed transactions are not presented as completed results.
The “Why it matters” section is editorial analysis. Background reports are marked “In context”. Regional coverage is still growing, and empty sections are labelled.
Research and review
Codex prepared the first edition and checked the briefs against the linked material. Later editions use Claude Code for research and a separate Codex session for review. The reviewer reads the sources again and decides on each draft. A draft that changes after approval must be reviewed again. Automated checks then confirm sources, dates, approvals and duplicates before publication.
Images
The city, AI review and cyber disruption scenes are original AI illustrations. They are not photographs of real places or events. The AI adoption chart was made from the figures and sample definition in EIOPA’s cited publication. The Saudi market chart uses figures from the Insurance Authority. View sources and image credits.
Corrections
Corrections will be recorded with the article, date and reason for the change. View the correction record.
