IRB Re of Brazil is providing additional reinsurance capacity exclusively through Kay International AMEA Limited, Walid Sidani, the UAE firm's managing director and group CEO, said in a LinkedIn post that reshared the company's announcement.

The expanded agreement covers property and engineering/construction facultative risks in selected Middle East markets and Türkiye, and now also includes casualty and financial lines. The announcement states that IRB Re holds an A- (Excellent) rating from AM Best with a stable outlook, and it referred to the 68th Rendez-Vous de Septembre, held on 7-9 September 2026.

Sidani framed the deal as part of an effort to connect international reinsurance markets, especially in emerging regions, through long-term partnerships. The post did not disclose capacity limits.
